Connecting Consciousness

Frequently Asked Questions

If you have received the invitation to join Mighty Networks Connecting Consciousness, you indeed already are a member of CC and don’t need to register with CC again. However if you wish to be a part of our new community platform, you will need to create an account for Mighty Networks Connecting Consciousness.

If you prefer not to be a part of Mighty Networks Connecting Consciousness, please click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the invitation email and you will not receive any further emails from Mighty Networks CC. Please note this will not unsubscribe you as CC member, you will still receive emails from your coordinator.

Sometimes the invites will end up in your spam/junk or advertising folder; please have a look in there. You could also try to search within your mail box for “Simon & Becky” or “Your invitation to join me” or connecting-consciousness@mn.co

There will be a small number of you, whose email provider flags the message as spam, and you genuinely don’t receive the invite.

If you believe you didn’t receive the invite, you can provide us with a different email address, and we will send you a new invite there.

Please contact your coordinator, if you are unsure who your coordinator is please go to: https://www.connecting-consciousness.org/en/contact-us?subject=coordinator

Please make sure you’ve created an account before you try to sign in. Please do not “Request Access”/”Request to Join”/”Request an Invite”. All of these requests are and will be ignored. The membership on Mighty Networks Connecting Consciousness is via an invitation only.

If you see this screen, before you’ve created an account:

It usually means one of two things:

  • if you are creating an account on a desktop computer, you’ve most likely clicked the “Sign In” button, instead of Next and Create an Account
  • If you’re using a mobile device and have installed the app before creating the account

Every invitation email contains a token. It also means the invitation email is only good for one MN profile creation. You won’t be able to share it with each other and successfully create another account.

So if you’re trying to create an account on a mobile device and have installed the app before creating your account, it will bypass the token from the invitation email, and you won’t be able to go any further.

Please go back to the invitation email and click on the Join me button again if this happens. With the app already installed, you should have no issues creating the account.

A small number of you will be using older devices, and those steps mentioned above might not work for you. If you’ve already clicked the Join me button from the email a couple of times and it didn’t work, please try uninstalling the app and creating the account through your web browser. Of course, you can always install the app later.

Please make sure you’ve created an account before you try to sign in.

If you see this screen like this:

Please go back to the invite email, click the Join Me button again and follow the instructions for creating the account.

if you see this one:

Please go back to your invitation email and either right click on the Join Me button (if you are on a desktop PC), or long press and hold the Join Me button (if you are using a mobile device). Some of you might be using devices/software that is now obsolete.

In the example below, you can see an email client called Windows Live Mail. Unfortunately, this email client reached its End of Life on June 30th, 2016, and is no longer supported.

Because it’s old software with no support, some messages won’t be displayed properly, as you can see in the image. We would recommend signing into your emails through a web browser.

You tried to join Mighty Networks, but the side is unsecured.

myconnectingconsciousness.org is the domain name for Mighty Networks Connecting Consciousness. The domain has a valid SSL certificate and is secured, so this issue would mainly come up if you are using older devices due to the Let’s Encrypt DST Root CA X3 Expiration, which happened on September 30, 2021. This issue would affect Windows, iOS as well as Android.

As of yet, there is no solution to this problem; you could, however, try to install an internet browser called Firefox.

The issue would look something like this:

You tried to join Mighty Networks, but the site is inaccessible.

This issue also shouldn’t occur; if you can’t access myconnectingconsciousness.org, we suggest trying to access it on your mobile device through mobile data. If you can access the website, it usually means that your internet service provider is blocking the website. In this case, you can call the service provider and ask them to unblock the website.

The issue would look something like this:

If you and your partner would like to have two accounts on Mighty Networks CC, you can. However, if you signed up for CC with only one email address for you and your partner, we will also need your partner’s email address. Please get in touch with your coordinator.

If you and your partner already have two accounts and prefer not to have to sign in and out all the time, you can use two different internet browsers. For example, you could use Chrome or Edge, and your partner could use Firefox.

Every invitation email contains an unsubscribe link. So if you clicked this thinking it is spam but now decided you would like to join, you can click the unsubscribe link again and re-subscribe.

If you no longer have this email, could you please provide your coordinator with an alternative email address to send you a new invitation?

CC does NOT charge for anything.

So if you paid for something or are being asked to pay for something, this has nothing to do with CC.

Mighty Network is a platform where anyone can create a community. You can have a 14-day trial, so if you’re being asked to pay in 14 days, it means you’ve created your own network.
